What you need
A ChatGPT Plus or Pro plan. Infinity uses it through OpenAI’s Codex app, which has its own sign-in.
Set it up
- In Infinity, open Settings ▸ Accounts and models and choose ChatGPT plan · through Codex.
- Press Install Codex if you don’t have it. Then sign in with your ChatGPT account; the sign-in happens inside Infinity.
- Pick a ChatGPT model in the model menu and start a chat. Answers count against your plan’s limits.
Good to know
- Your chats go to OpenAI through the Codex app on your Mac, the same as when you use Codex yourself.
- In Infinity Code you can also pick Codex as the agent that writes the code.
