Effective November 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Amp Dynamic (“we”, “us”) about the Infinity app for Mac (“Infinity” or “the app”) and the website infinitychat.app. By using either, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
1. The app is free
Infinity is free to download and use, for personal and work use. We may add paid features in the future; if we do, we’ll say so clearly before you pay for anything, and free features you already use won’t start costing money without notice.
2. Early testing
Infinity is in early testing. It may have bugs, change often, or lose data. Keep backups of anything important, especially in folders you give Infinity Code or an assistant access to.
3. Your content
Your chats, files, prompts and the answers you get are yours. They stay on your Mac unless you send them to a provider. We don’t claim any rights to them and can’t see them.
4. AI providers and models
Infinity connects you to AI models from other companies, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Hugging Face and the makers of local models. When you use one, you use it under that provider’s own terms and policies, with your own key or plan, and they bill you directly. Models you download are covered by their publishers’ licences. We aren’t responsible for third-party services, their availability or what they do with what you send them.
5. AI answers can be wrong
AI models make mistakes. Answers can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and can sound confident when they’re wrong. Check anything important, and don’t rely on Infinity for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions without a qualified professional.
6. Agents that act for you
Infinity Code and assistants can read and change files, run commands and contact services, within the folders and permissions you give them. You decide what to allow and you’re responsible for reviewing what they do. Start with the default “ask first” settings.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t use Infinity or this website to break the law, to harm others, to violate the rights or terms of others (including AI providers), or to attack, overload or reverse engineer our services to cause harm.
8. Name and logo
“Infinity”, the Infinity logo and the tunnel app icon are trademarks of Amp Dynamic. Where we make source code available, it is licensed under the Apache License 2.0, which covers the code only, not the name or logo. You may refer to Infinity by name in reviews, articles and tutorials. Please don’t ship a modified version under the Infinity name or icon, or use them to suggest we endorse you. See the brand guidelines.
9. No warranty
Infinity and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Amp Dynamic isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of Infinity or this website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above and, for real changes, mention them in what’s new. Using Infinity after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Ending
You can stop using Infinity any time by deleting it. We may stop offering Infinity or this website, or parts of them. Sections 3, 5 and 8 to 10 continue to apply after you stop.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about Infinity or this website will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
